Installation and Performance
This installation derived from a performance, is addressing and trying to digest the state of dementia. Personal experiences of the two directors are connected to extensions from psychology, literature theory, philosophy and care-work. A dialogue is staged to accompany the gradually fading memory and its occasional comeback.
Two video works seek to extend the performance through a remix of visual material related to the performance, elaborating on its core mnemonic concept: Memory Palace. Adding to that, the installation features a proposal for a participatory project that aims to grasp the volatile nature of demented storytelling, titled Synopsis.
